Here's us. Can't you see the resemblance? The little cutie down front is usually quite happy but she chose this exact moment to stop smiling...what a shame. Oh and there's also our brother Taft in cardboard cutout form. Our parents got that when he moved out as a joke and now he "stands" in a place of honor and often photobombs family photos.
So when it comes to Halloween I believe in dressing up, scaring people, carving pumpkins, and all that jazz. I honestly love Halloween. Last year as a junior in high school I even went trick or treating (I dressed as a twister board, I literally wrapped the board around me like a toga). Yes, I really should have been ashamed of myself, but I was too busy enjoying myself. What a pity. Well this year I would love to do the same, but alas my parents forbade me. So what to do, what to do?
As a teenager, a popular Halloween activity is the visiting of haunted houses. However, I am a HUGE wimp and I get scared so easily. I get nightmares after watching the previews for scary movies! No, I don't even watch the movie itself, just the preview and I'm still up all night scared! So, I'd love to go to a haunted house, buuut...yeah, I couldn't do it.
SO, we'll see what happens this Wednesday then....either I'm passing out candy and getting to bed by the responsible hour of 8 o'clock or I'm going to a haunted house and I'm peeing myself and not sleeping.
This is the hardest decision of my life.
